Start Your Route 66 Journey!

• Who: Education and Community leaders, Families and PTA members from across the state come together to share ideas and learn new ways of engaging families and strengthening communities.
• What: Workshops include how to meaningfully engage families, increase membership, online safety for youth, ways to engage students & staff, leadership training, PTA officer training, effectively marketing your parent group and PTA, and programs designed to engage the families at your school. Learn how to strengthen your team and innovative solutions that work.
• When: Friday, April 24th 8:30am – 8:00pm. Workshops, keynote speakers, whole-group information sessions, Exhibitor Showcase, Reflections Celebration – your family is invited to the Showcase and Celebration!
  Saturday, April 25th 8:30am – 4:00pm. Workshops, Keynote Speakers, Artificial Intelligence (AI) Panel, Resource Fair, and information sessions.

• Why: New Mexico PTA has the resources, tools and partnerships to help you advocate for and support the students at your school. We want to help you push limits and break barriers. There are opportunities to meet with state education leaders and New Mexico PTA Board members.
  The registration fee is an appropriate use of school parent-engagement funds (talk to your principal) and PTA funds. If you are unsure who will be attending, register a “placeholder” to ensure that you get the discounted rate. Let us know at a later date when you have the attendees’ names.
