The New Mexico Out-of-School Time Network (NMOST) brings together policymakers, educators, childcare providers, youth development workers, and other stakeholders interested in ensuring positive youth development opportunities and outcomes through out-of-school time programs.

Mission: Graduate’s vision is a world-class, seamless, and coordinated education system that provides equitable opportunities for all children and youth to excel and succeed in school, graduate with a post-secondary certificate or degree, and enter a career of their choosing in central New Mexico.

The New Mexico Public Education Department partners with educators, communities, and families to ensure that ALL students are healthy, secure in their identity, and holistically prepared for college, career, and life.

We are a non-profit organization that works with parents, caregivers, educators, and other professionals to promote healthy, positive and caring experiences for families and children.

SafeTeen New Mexico is a youth driven non-profit organization. We partner with both public and private entities to fund and create in school programs as well as social issue documentaries and campaigns that educate teens, parents and educators about critical issues facing youth. Major topics of interest for the Safeteen organization include: distracted driving, drinking, drug abuse, date violence, body image, and mental health. SafeTeen’s vision is to create awareness in order to facilitate healthy decision making. Students, parents, community leaders and schools work with SafeTeen to create our programs. The SafeTeen organization exists to help youth make healthy decisions and to prevent dangerous behavior.

WATCH D.O.G.S. is one of the nation’s largest and most respected school-based, family, and community engagement, organizations in the country. Since the program’s creation in 1998, more than 6,450 schools across the country have launched a WATCH D.O.G.S. program of their own. Each school year hundreds of thousands of fathers and father-figures make a positive impact on millions of children by volunteering millions of hours in their local schools through this amazing one-of-a-kind program. Who are WatchDOGS? Fathers, grandfathers, step-fathers, uncles, and other father figures who volunteer to serve at least one day a year in a variety of school activities as assigned by the school principal or other administrator.

National PTA is proud to continue to partner with Learning Heroes  to provide parents with information and resources to help them get an accurate picture of their child’s progress with grade level expectations. Learning Heroes has recently developed “Team Up for Success,” an ongoing series of free, research-based bilingual tools and resources for parents throughout the year.

The suite of resources for parents and families include:

The new Dear Teacher letter helps parents introduce their family to the child’s new teacher this fall.

The updated Parent-Teacher Planning Tool helps parents and teachers partner up on learning plans. They also created this video to help parents use the tool this school year.

Paths to Success has been updated with a new landing page and flyer to help parents of middle school students prepare for high school and beyond.

The Readiness Check gives parents a gut check on how their child is doing in reading and math.
